Patient Records

Send Files

When a patient asks for their X-rays or records, send them everything by one link. Choose the files and documents, then send the link by email or SMS, or show its QR code at the front desk. The patient opens each file on their phone or downloads a ZIP of them all.

What It Helps With

What Your Clinic Gets

  • Everything on One Page

X-rays, photos, and signed forms, with the documents you print: the patient record, dental chart, Treatment Record, visit summaries, treatment plans, statements, receipts, prescriptions, certificates, and sketches.

  • Email, SMS, or a QR Code

Send the link by email, SMS, or both, show its QR code for the patient to scan at the front desk, or copy it into Viber or Messenger. A minor's link goes to their guardian.

  • Full-Quality X-rays

Every file goes at full quality, sorted into X-rays, Photos, Signed Forms, and Documents. The patient opens each one on their phone or downloads them all as a ZIP.

  • You Stay in Control

The link lasts 1, 3, 7, or 14 days. You see when it was delivered and downloaded, can stop it at any time, and every send is recorded in the patient's activity.

How It Works

Step by Step in the App

Send a patient their X-rays, photos, forms, and records by one link, by email, SMS, or a QR code at the front desk.

  1. Choose What to Send

On the patient's Files tab, tap Send Files, or start from a treatment, an appointment, or a treatment plan, which ticks what belongs with it. All Files, All X-rays, and Last 12 Months choose in one tap.

  2. Send the Link

Choose how long the link lasts and whether it goes by email, SMS, or both, then tap Send Files. With neither, tap Create Link, then Show QR or Copy Link.

  3. The Patient Opens It

The patient opens the link on any phone or computer, with nothing to install. Under Sent Files on the Files tab, you see the downloads and can send it again or stop the link.

Questions

Common Questions

Why a link instead of email attachments?

A link carries every X-ray at full quality and works only until the day you choose. You can stop it at any time, and its prepared copy of the files is deleted when it ends. The originals stay on the patient's record.

Does the page show the patient's name?

The page shows your clinic, how many items there are, and when the link expires. It leaves out the patient's name, since a link can be forwarded.

Who can send files?

Staff with clinical Manage permission. Each document also needs its own permission, such as billing access for statements and receipts.

Can we answer a patient's request for a copy of their data?

Yes. From an access request under the Data Privacy Act, Send Files ticks the patient's whole record and every file, and the package is kept with the request.

What if the link expires before the patient downloads?

Open the package under Sent Files and tap Send as New Link. It makes a new link with the same items.
