Clinical Work
Sketches
Patients understand a treatment when they see it drawn. Open a sketch on your tablet, pick the adult or child teeth, and draw what you will do while they watch. The ink follows the S Pen's pressure, your resting hand never leaves a mark, and every stroke saves on its own. Keep the sketch with the patient's record, or use it loose for your own notes, and print it as a PDF.

What It Helps With
What Your Clinic Gets
-
Explain It So Patients See It
Draw on adult teeth, child teeth, lined, squared, dotted, or blank pages, in black, blue, or red, with a yellow highlighter under the ink. Present hides the tools so the patient sees only the drawing.
-
Feels Like Pen on Paper
The line follows the S Pen's pressure and keeps up with the tip. Rest your hand on the glass while you write: palms are ignored, and fingers pinch to zoom and move the page.
-
Kept With the Patient
Attach a sketch to a patient and it appears with their records, for everyone allowed to see them. Up to 30 A4 pages per sketch, each in portrait or landscape.
-
Saved Without a Save Button
Each page saves moments after your last stroke. Print a sketch or export it as a PDF that matches the screen, page for page.
How It Works
Step by Step in the App
Draw to explain a treatment on your tablet, on a page of teeth or a blank one, kept with the patient's record.
-
Open Sketches
Tap Clinic Apps beside the clinic switcher and open Sketches, or open Apps on a patient's page to sketch for them. Tap New Sketch.
-
Pick a Page and Draw
Choose the page's background, then draw with the pen, highlight, or erase just the ink you pass over. Hold the S Pen's side button to erase. Add pages with + Page.
-
Show, Keep, or Print
Tap Present to show the drawing full screen. Tap Done to leave; the sketch is saved. Print and Export PDF are in the ⋮ menu.
Questions
Common Questions
Do I need a stylus?
A stylus such as the S Pen draws best, with pressure. Without one, a finger draws on phones and tablets, and a mouse on a computer.
Who on my team can draw?
Sketches has its own permissions. Dentists and assistants can draw by default, and the front desk and clinic manager can view. The owner can change this for anyone.
What if the connection drops while I draw?
Keep drawing. The editor shows Offline and saves your ink when the connection returns.
Can I turn Sketches off?
Yes. Sketches is a Clinic App, on by default. The owner can turn it off in Clinic Settings, and sketches already made stay in your patients' records.
