Writing Assistant
A note is quicker to say than to type on a tablet at the chair. Tap Dictate in any note and speak in English, Filipino, or Taglish, and your words appear where you were typing. Clean Up takes out the ums and false starts and adds the punctuation, and Improve with AI fixes the spelling and grammar in what you typed. You see every change before it is used, and it all runs on our own server in the Philippines.

A Tidy Note From Quick Speech
Clean Up removes fillers and stutters, keeps only the words you corrected yourself to, adds punctuation and capitals, and writes spoken numbers as digits. Undo brings back exactly what you said, and Auto tidies every dictation for you.

Your Clinical Facts Stay as Written
Tooth numbers, surfaces, drug names, doses, dates, and amounts stay as you wrote them, and a suggestion that changes one is refused. Your note stays in the language you wrote it in.

Processed in the Philippines
Your text and recordings are processed on our own server in the Philippines, never by an outside AI company. They are not stored or logged, and they are never used to train AI.

Tap Dictate
In a visit note, treatment note, or any other note, tap Dictate and allow the microphone the first time. Speak, then tap Stop.

Tidy It Up
Tap Clean Up to tidy what you said, or turn on Auto to tidy every dictation. Tap Undo to get your exact words back.

Improve What You Typed
Tap Improve with AI and choose Fix Spelling & Grammar, Improve Clarity, or Shorten Text. Review the marked changes, edit them if you like, and tap Use Suggestion.

Common Questions
Where do our notes go when we use it?
To our own server in the Philippines, run by the company behind DentalDesk.ph, and never to an outside AI company. Your text and recordings are not stored or logged, and they are never used to train AI.
Which languages does it understand?
English, Filipino, and Taglish, without choosing one first. Clean Up and Improve with AI keep your note in the language you used.
Where can my team use it?
In the notes your staff write: visit, tooth, treatment, prescription, and health notes, patient and recall notes, patient messages, expense and billing notes, and your clinic's own texts such as consent templates. In patient messages, Improve with AI can also make your wording friendlier. Dictate works in the web app and the Android app, with iPhone and iPad coming.
Can we turn it off?
Yes. The Writing Assistant is on by default, and the owner can turn it off for the whole clinic in Clinic Settings > Features. Every note field keeps working as before.
